Objective

AwareHaus is a queer community space centered on care, connection, and collective healing. As the organization introduced a newly developed design system, the team faced challenges translating established brand elements—such as color, typography, and texture—into consistent social media communication. This project aimed to create a cohesive template system that supports AwareHaus in sharing events, schedules, and community offerings with clarity, warmth, and visual continuity across platforms.

apporach

Inspired by the legacy of 1970s gay magazines, AwareHaus’s visual language draws from cheeky classified-style layouts, nostalgic print textures, and collage-based compositions that evoke analog queer connection. I developed a modular social media toolkit designed for flexibility and ease of use, including templates for monthly offerings, weekly schedules, featured events, informational posts, and story-based spotlights. By structuring a rotating color rhythm, refining typographic hierarchy, and integrating reusable graphic elements, the system extends the brand identity into everyday application—making social content both practical to produce and deeply aligned with AwareHaus’s retro-human, community-centered spirit.
