How to Be Alone is a chapbook design project that transforms podcast narratives into a compelling visual experience. Drawing from personal stories of isolation, this project explores the psychological weight of solitude and its profound emotional impact. The chapbook uses a structured yet expressive typographic system to visually interpret different voices, mirroring the fluid and fragmented nature of loneliness.
The design concept embraces void, weightlessness, and emptiness, translating them into a minimal yet immersive visual system. Negative space plays a crucial role in evoking isolation, while floating typography and asymmetric layouts reflect the shifting nature of solitude. A restrained, monochromatic palette with subtle gradients reinforces the feeling of detachment, guiding the reader through an introspective journey of self-awareness and resilience.
